The CHALLENGE is a dish with 1 kg of MAN-O-WAR RUMP AND FRIES and a FULL RACK OF JUICY RIBS AND FRIES. Its crazy big! D: but Ryan had it! and Wiped it clean!! amazing.

There were other dishes that I didn't get a chance to take a picture of, such as the Unagi Rice, Prawn Tempura, Steam Ocean Trout and LOTS more! It was all sooo delicious! I must say, that Japanese food makes it to my list of favourite foods :)

The portions in Sydney are much bigger than the ones you get back home. I usually would not be filled up by a bowl of udon noodles but after having just half of it, i began to feel full! D:

but it was good, SOOOO good! ^^V

have you ever done something nice for someone even when theyre angry, annoyed or upset at you? knowing that theyll never know what you did , yet you still did it. even if their perspective of you wont change?

i did.

and after a while of doing it, i thought, hey, what difference do i make ? everyone does it that way, so why am i doing it like this?

but someone came up to me and told me " hey Evelyn, yknow what you did has really changed my days " (and then came the good feeling )

and that encouraged me.

i mean, yes im different. strange. weird. call me someone whose tryna act cute or just plain retarded. but if i werent me ? who's gonna be?

sometimes we dont realize it, but you do make a difference even if people dont say it out loud. but THAT is what makes what you did even better :)

so, my point ? lets take a small action like smiling and saying hello to anyone you meet on the corridor. Doesnt it give you a good feeling ? better than the person just walking past you like nothing? so , if you want to experience that good feeling, you must start it first. we tend to forget and think that the other person must say hello to me first , then only will i say hello to him/her . just like respect. to gain respect, one must first show respect. because...

i love blogging at random times! like now. i havent blogged in soooooo long!
yeah well, whatever,. who cares right ? haha. anyways, i went to walk Sox today. incase youre wondering ... Sox is my dog :)

Sox is a girl and im pretty sure most of the dogs in the neighbourhood are guys. hahahaha. that might explain why Sox is barked at ALL THE TIME! but shes a good girl. she doesnt bark at all ^^

i took some really random pictures. mainly views. Cause i thought it was really pretty and it reminded me of how awesome and creative God is. Something hit me the other day , not literally, but yeah.. something did. and i realized i wasnt appreciating my life enough or the things and people around me. But i look at cool views like these and think .. Wow . Ive got a pretty awesome potter :)

OOoooo! i also came across a pink hibiscus ! so pretttyy! i hate those stupid developers! theyre just destroying so much of land and plants and trees and pretty pretty flowers! haih. so disappointing! but anyway, back to the pretty hibiscus. its so pretty and pink :)

went for a Jimmy Choo showcase at KLCC for one of their most recent collections. The shoes were pretty and pretty expensive XD heh . no surprise there. but the whole shop was on discount except for theyre best seller shoes la. it wasnt anything grand, but definately nice :)

June holidays are so awesome hm? i havent been goin out much though . so unlike some friends , im NOT under HOUSE ARREST. teehee! XD for the past few days , my days have been starting with me waking up at 9 ish , then cleaning Sox's cage, feeding her, letting her run around like some crazy animal for about an hour+ . Yeah .. isnt that just so awesome?=.= ytd i didnt even wash up nad i had to clean her poo =/ but oh well. Thats what i get for gettinga dog ei? and yknow what?

yeah, yesterday, Mariko and i had a super last minute plan after captainball to go to Desa Park City to celebrate Vic's pre birthday dinner with Jin Yang and Han Xian cause apparently , poor Vic was feeling a tad bit sad . haha. ate at WTF ( which is Waterfront if you guys thought something else ) haha. sang Vic happy birthday bla bla bla, talked, laughed and just caught up. It was pretty good fun ! ^^

Genting was pure awesome ness! I used to be a BIG wusss when it comes to theme parks and roller coasters especially. Prolly cos the last time i went to Genting was when i was erms.. 9 maybe? haha. i was afraid of EVERYTHING! but now.. it all seems so small. the scariest thing was Space Shot. I hate the free falling feeling. Sure know i aint gonna commit suicide off a buildingXD Well im pretty lazy to blog now. but yeah.. pics will explain it all? haha. camwhored alot.. like on the way to Genting.. Sg Chongkak is a nice place.. the river, the greenery, the nature.. but the chalets suck tho.. like really really. Shanice, Mun Keat, Wen-Li and i went "camping" with a few of TTDI GC church ppl. it was a one night thing since we are city folk. haha. we didnt pitch tents or anything.. we lived in the chalet. Mk's mum is super funny! Before we went to Sg Chongkak, we stopped by a famous Yong Tau Foo shop at Ampang. Mk messaged his mom to tell her he was alright(through text)..

MK: Mom we just had lunch. We ate yong tau foo.

haha. when we reached, we instantly played volleyball. Wen-Li brought her 20buck volleyball which eventually spoilt after the camp. haha. sad.

we found out that Matthew, Jason and Ryan can actually play volleyball too! haha. awesome! then, we went to play in the river. we kept going up stream. it was sooo dangerous! Jason was happily "being as one" with the river. They even found a PAn in the river! lol.

After happily playing in the river, we went back to the chalet to take a bath. The toilet with the ONLY shower head.. had windows that DO NOT HAVE CURTAINS! i was super afraid when i took a bath. cos it could be seen from the road! goodness.. so Wenz and i went to check if we were actually visible when Shanice took a bath:D but no.. no obscenity=) Thank GOD!

Dinner was cooked by our own church ppl. While waiting for dinner, Wen-Li played the guitar and taugh Mk how to play Wonderful tonight.

see. MK soooo hard working to try and get the song. i think he forgot how to play it the next morningXD

Sleeping time was prolly the worst part of the night.. A BAT flew into the chalet at midnight! and we all decided to sleep on the floor cos the beds didnt look very clean. my dad was so nice. he brought 2 air beds! haha. and he blew em up for Ryan and i ! see. hes so cuteXD

yeaps. but Shanice and i really couldnt sleep. there were these tiny bugs that kept biting us! so we went to the room and slept. haha. what fun ei?X)

i went to the Zoo today! to take care of lil kids and not like as if i had anything better to do anyways. Thank goodness Joy, Choon Ying and Jason were there too. haha. we reached the Zoo at 8+am.. and look at the sign in the carpark!>>>>>

lol. i loved the Sea Lion there! so cute! all it wanted was fish.. then the power short circuited. haha. sad.. zoo negara didnt pay their billsXD

there were alot of animals.. but i didnt get to see the WHOLE zoo.. @@

if youre wondering.. the thing lion down over there is actually a lion and its not dead.. somehow quite a few of the animals were in this state today.. but they moved. haha. (bottom pic)

Jcard day

Today was really a funny day. Went to 1u today with Eric, Audrey and Chris. 1u was having a Jcard day promotion so everything at jusco was like.. seriously UBER CHEAP! yeah. so 1u opened at 9am today. my mum had things to do, so she dropped us off at a mamak and we had to walk to 1u. haha. great morning exerciseXD

reached 1u at like.. 10.15am? ahha. super early i tell you. we had nothing to do there. went to Sticky again. such a cute shop. Met up with Audrey and we went to buy tickets at GSC. Bought tickets for the show Ninja at 2pm! 2pm is like.. very very long.. we had to burn alot of time.. Audrey wanted to eat at Delicious but it wasnt open yet. still too early. so we went window shopping! haha. walked into Zara, TopShop and Forever 21 and tried their stuff... knowing we'll never buy them anyways. ahha.

Then i left them at Delicious and met up with my mom at Jusco. Jusco was seriously like a pasar malam today.. ALOT of ppl. then there were happy hours too=.= haha. i found alotta clothes that were CHEAP and i LIKED but all the fitting rooms were CRAZY FULL! siao.. so yeah.. didnt get anything. oo! but there was 80% discount on high-end bags.. like.. seriously! Rm100+ drop to Rm20+ crazy! i wanted to see the bags.. but FLOCKS AND FLOCKS OF AUNTIES and some middle aged women were crowding it up. IT.WAS.MADDNESS.

okay.. so 2pm. Audrey and i were so eager to watch RAin.. and then.. we went to the cinema.. movie started.. 30minutes.. 40 minutes.. still no RAin.. there was a really ripped guy.. too ripped adi. not like Rain. Rain's hotter. then 1 hour.. still no Rain. then until the whole movie... Chris was like "maybe Rain is gonna come out singing".

then the movie ended.. and turns out.. Ninja Assasin(the one with Rain)

and Ninja( the one without Rain) are two TOTALLY different movies! Ninja assasin hasnt even come out yet=.=

waste my time and money i tell you. =.=

there was a pet fair at 1U today. well.. mainly dogs. at Central park. i just HAD to go!=) So Wen-Li, Jason, Ryan and i went. there were so many dogs! BIG dogs, small dogs, f a t dogs, skinny dogs, bald dogs, really furry dogs, dogs with clothes and even dogs with SHOES! lol. it was so funny. surprisingly, there are quite alot of Siberian Husky's in Malaysia.. haha.

There were 2 chowchows there too! chowchows are SOOO CUTE! they look like lions.. and yknow wat? they dont barkXD haha!

one of the owners there had 2 St Bernard's! they were huge! and abit scary looking. prolly cos of their bloodshot eyes and giant fangs. but yeah. then of the St Bernard's bit a Husky. lol. the owner of the St Bernard scolded it in chinese and it was soo cute! cos it slowly lay on the ground like.. acting really sad. haha. so cute la!

and there were other dogs too.. like.. BEAGLES! golden retrievers and alot of these small dogs@@

alot of puppies were up for adoption tooo! and a few kittens.

so lets talk bout today.. today, i went to meet up with my childhood buddy, Jan Va. Havent seen her in like... 6 years? gosh.. so long. but yeha. had a great time shoppping with her and talking and stuff. haha.

after walking for a really long time, Jan Va and i decided to stop and have "tea". and yeah.. i had this fondont ice cream.. super good! look how yummy it is! ^^

when i say "we", i mean the K ppl of 07. and the ones who joined in the following years too la(: we're different in alot of ways.. everyone will be partying and the K ppls? they'll be playing things like chess, cho dai di and carrom. haha. if youve been really observing, K people arent the "people in the scene" but thats what makes us... us=) we grew closer than ever this year. i mean like... the more active people in class la.. haha. but still. next year, everything is gonna change. fascinating!

yknow what else? we won for Post Exams this year... AGAIN! whoot! kinda funny though.. we didnt think we would win.. like.. seriously. im not just saying. Cos our spirit was like.. -100%. Mdm Farida wasnt even giving us support! unlike all the other class teachers. sad. so yeah.. and captainball started off pretty rough.. especially the K vs W game. Then, we went to Chillis to have "supper" which pretty much consisted of tostada chips and bottomless drinks=) yeah only managed to eat like.. BARELY 3 rounds of chips.. and 4 rounds of drinks. then we were stuffed!

Field trip!!!

ah.. so fun. haha for those of you who didnt go, ya'll missed out weh. Went to Malacca. Visited 7 places. We were spose to visit 8 but we didnt have enough time. We left for Malacca at 8am.. got bak at 7.30pm!@@ Wat a tiring day! it was ALOT of fun! We visted the Butterfly and Reptile park.. but yknow wat.. there were alotta BIRDS! haha. it was soo funny. a monkey, pulled Sam Lim's hair! aww.. poor Sam!

My table was crazy. We had 9 ROUNDS OF 20 CHICKEN RICE BALLS. Crazy ! haha. Our K table consisted of V Vern, Kai Yuan, Anand, Mariko, me, Wen-Li, Khai Meng, Max, David, Eng Seng and Bryan. i didnt know Khai Meng, Anand and V Vern ate so much~! haha. Then we sweeeped up all the other tables left overs. like.. chicken la. haha. we left the place.. STUFFED like anything. haha. Great trip .

Had a blast yesterday at Wen-li's house. We decided to have a surprise party for Sarah cos her birthday was on the 4th but we were gonna have PMR. It was sooo much fun! Wen-Li and Mark took Sarah to the Curve. Then, they told her that it was getting boring so they should come back to Wen-Li's place to play rockband. Alison, Li Yan, Josh and I hid in the lift while the others hid by the piano. David was spose to be with us but he was taking a piss!-.- Sarah came back and all of us were still watching The Big Bang Theory. lol! we started scrambling. Surprising Sarah was sooo funny! She screams alot. Then we ate and talked and laughed. haha. Uncle Russ came back and he was GREAT entertainment. Lol. it was pretty much a K thing.. except for Li Yan and Alison who are her best friends la. so yeah.. haha. awesome party weh! here are the pics.

I always wonder.. why do bad things happen to good people? But then, i also remember.. To me, he was an asshole.. and she was bitch. BUT.. after many long months of being angry, unreasonable and just as much a bitch too.. It hit me, that im wasting my energy. He's happy now.. and thats good. I prayed to God many many times. For peace, comfort. And the Lord.. He really helped me through. Im glad he's happy and im happy for him too=) Oo,, and for her. I wont give up on her. She was so tolerant with me and still wanted to be my friend even thought i was like... the wicked witch of the west to her. lol. i know i should be studying for PMR and all.. but hanging out a bit wouldnt hurt rite?(: hehe. i havent gone out with my dear japanese friend in like.. a very very long time. So we went to sunway pyramid since like everywhere else is like really really far for her. Zzzz.... haha. theres barely any sale in pyramid!! dang. Mariko and i walked for bout 4 hours+ and i only bought a piece of clothing and Mariko bout zilch-.- goodness. haha. it was fun tho.. then we went back to her place and watched Boys over Flowers in KOREAN with CHINESE subtitles. @@ goodness... i understood zilch. so i made Mariko translate sentence by sentence to me. haha. shes such a good friend. hehe! oo. then we camwhored!

Ooo.. there was sushi, italian, chinese, western and indian. There was this really nice chef he offered me like.. alot of different food. haha. hes so nice(: the cooked salmon and beef was really good. like super soft!

There was also a dessert counter.. it was so cute! there was this pyramid shape mousse i think. So ... artistic. The tarts were really nice. Oo! and we ate lotsa sorbets.. cos they were "mouth cleansers" haha. The lime sorbet was pretty good. Tasted like solero shots. haha.

At the fruits section, they served WHOLE mangoes.. my mum took like 2 and brought them back to the table. Being the very unclassy, kampung ish ppl we were, my mum took the butter knife provided and cut the mangoes. Howre you spose to cut mangoes with butter knives?! well.. my mum did it. haha. Then while my bros were eating it and having a hard time with the seed, i saw a waiter walk by with a plate of nicely cut mangoes.. then we realised, we're suppose to ask them to cut the mangoes for us=.= Alex wanted to steal the mangoes. He wanted to take em and put em in my handbag... wat a monkey.

Ive always wanted to try raw salmon.. but never really wanted to specifically buy it. So since the buffet was gonna close already, i decided to go get a piece. BUT THEN! they had no more.. but the chef was so nice, that he ran down to his storage place to get some for me.
My mum spoke to him in canto when he was a malay-.- She was like "salmon mo jor ah? salmon mo jor ah?" haha. Then the guy looked at here blurly. Embaressing nia! Anyways, i dont like raw salmon.. does taste like cooked salmon. I ate like 1 piece then i couldnt eat anymore. ee..!

Eventually, we sat there from 12-3pm. Not as long as Tenji but i was crazy stuffed!

i Dont know why but i have a habit of keeping price tags of my stuff( well except from like Jusco la ). Hehe. And yeah. i found like.. 5 bodyglove price tags. And my goodness! i was sooo spoilt! i didnt know how to value money when i was younger! Seriously, it really disappointed me on how terribly wasteful i was. Goodness.

When i was 11-12..and half way being 13, i LOVED shopping at BodyGlove. The clothes there used to be nice okay! But now theyre kinda sucky la. Anyways, i couldnt believe the prices of the clothes i bought weh!

Iba reunion recently. Some couldnt make it. Some could. Saturday nite. Merdeka eve=) had lotsa pizza, kfc and soft drinks. Met up with the copa iba players. Woot! At like 11.30pm+ we decided to go to Centrepoint to have Baskin Robins to have ice cream thats 30% off!!!^^ Charlson knew the ppl working there. lols. so they opened a lil bit longer. Merdeka was so.. lame. No atmosphere. Sigh. Still. was a really fun night.

TTDI GC didnt take part in iba unplugged this year:/ but. it was great. The music was really good. If youre wondering what it is, its an inter church band competition. SSGC won again.. Woot!

We didnt spend THAT much. Didnt get to buy all that i wanted to get tho.. =( Then we had lunch at Paddington House of Pancakes. I had the strangest lunch. lol . ate pancake with sliced apples, onions, and chicken SMOTHERED in mushroom sauce. tasted quite good tho. hehe.

Wen-li and i also made a new discovery today.. Evethough i am quite.. no wait.. VERY dark, i can pull of YELLOW!^^ really. its not bad. haha. Wen-Li said i shudnt buy so many black tops.. since i have like alot. like.. really alot.. haha. So yeah. i didnt. i bought blue, yellow and black=) hehe. Then we watched UP! haha. its such a cute show!!!^^
A bunch of teens tried to pass as 18 year olds.. but the cashier guy was like "can i see ur ic pls" and they all just.. "uh.." haha. embaressing nia! They caused a small commotion tho. How sad..

lesson learnt: DONT TRY TO PASS AS 18 IF YOU CANT;P

Mind Over Matter

Thats what we had to do for our hike up Gunung Angsi, Seremban. According to Uncle Vincent... "Anyone can do it". To me, that anyone must be someone who regularly exercises and is ready to push themselves real hard. The hike really built character. It was awesome. Eventhough, most.. almost all.. of us came back with scratches and an aching body, it was really great fun! im gonna do it again! haha. We hiked for 8 1/2 hours. UP AND DOWN.

The hike up was insanely tiring.. especially when it started to rain. The rain was really really heavy.. All of us were soaked.. head to toe. our shoes, bags, clothes. EVERYTHING.

It took us bout 4 1/2 hours so climb up to the top. We had to rock climb with nothing but ropes on this big lump of soil that wasnt even very solid anymore. it was really difficult. We just climbed and climbed and climbed.

At the top, we were in the mist.. we went to the top to see the "view" but because of the fog, there wasnt any view. So we sat there and rested while waiting for the rest to come.. then as we were all drying up from the rain, having a bite, the sky became darker and the wind started blowing. We started to FREEZE! No one came prepared enough. Goodness. haha. We stood there freezing for bout an hour waiting for the others to come. =.= Then, we made our way down the hill..on this slippery path. As we got down it stopped raining. After some hours, we ended up by the side of the highway.

We all sat down.. and people on the highway started SLOWING DOWN. They Waved and Honked at us! Balik kampung ppl . lol .

It was a long long day. Got home at bout 9? then went to have dinner with my parents at this really good bak kut teh place in Kepong called kaka bak kut teh. haha. Yumm^^

Six Who Died

GIJOE is a cool show. haha. A bit TOO much cgi tho.. Anyways, after that i went to watch a play in PJ Gospel Hall called Six Who Died. Its bout this six people... of whom 5 knew God. and 1 didnt believe at all. They lived separate lives.. and one day they all died. It was a short play bout wat happens to them while they are judged to go to either Heaven or Hell. Eventually, 1 of them made it to Heaven.. while the others went to Hell. It really got me thinking. The characters were:-
a business man who was waaay too busy with his coporate life. he died from a heart attack.
a brave guy who loved doin dangerous things. he died sky diving.
a sick girl with every kind of sickness but died slipping on a banana peel.
a nice girl who was a strong believer. she died in a car accident.
an aunty who gave alot to the home for special people. she died in a car accident too.
a guy who just thought that everything was an illusion. how he died was unknown.

SO yesh.. it was short and simple. Cheow Siang was acting too! lol. funny guy.
